◎简　　介

1930年的一天，杰西・欧文斯带着全家人的嘱托，成为俄亥俄州立大学的新生。田径队的教练，前运动员劳瑞注意到了他的天赋，认定他有成为奥运会奖牌争夺者的潜质。然而作为拉美裔黑人运动员，他在生活和赛场上都收到了不同程度的排挤，养家的重任更让他疏于训练。在劳瑞的帮助下，杰西的妻儿生活得到了保障，他也在第一次出赛中就轻松打破百米和跳远的世界纪录。1936年德国柏林奥运会在即，但反犹太和有色人种的呼声四起，美国通过投票决议参赛。杰西肩负巨大的压力，在教练劳瑞的陪伴下前往柏林，准备用成绩为自己正名。在跳远赛场上，杰西的对手是德国队劲敌卢兹，并在他无私的帮助和支持下一举夺冠。杰西在众望所归之下，带着四块金牌返回祖国。他的荣誉不只是个人骄傲，更是民族自豪感的体现。关于此次奥运会的一切，都被女导演莱妮的摄影机镜头记录下来，并载入史册。
