◎简　　介

彩虹村本是民风淳朴的和谐之村，谁知新上任的知县却见不得村民们互助友爱，认为人性本恶，于是搞得村子上下鸡犬不宁，人人自私自利。原来这新知县马麟大（黄百鸣饰）本是朝廷四品高官，可是却生性贪婪，心术不正。其二弟马麟举（周文健饰）更是一个好色之徒，唯有三弟马麟祥（张国荣饰）为人善良，英俊潇洒。可就在马麟大来彩虹村上任的路上，三弟却不知所踪。原来此时的马麟祥偶遇了彩虹村相国夫人的侄女紫云（吴倩莲饰），两人一见钟情。最终，彩虹村能否重拾往日的美好？马麟祥与紫云又能否有情人终成眷属呢？
