◎简 介
具争议性和开创性的喜剧演员伦尼布鲁斯的传记电影，全片追溯伦尼布鲁斯反政府的政治观点。全片以倒叙的手法，分别从母亲、妻子和经纪人的角度出发讲叙了喜剧演员伦尼布鲁斯的一生。
在伦尼布鲁斯早年还未出名之际，那时他只是个普普通通的喜剧演员，他遇到了跳脱衣舞的哈妮，并爱上了她。不顾经纪人阿蒂和母亲的反对，伦尼坚持同哈妮举行了婚礼，并与老��发生争执，因为他坚持要按照自己的个人风格进行表演，老��一怒之下将他解雇。这时，哈妮受伤住进了医院，伦尼在探病期间同一个护士关�S暧昧，对此有所察觉的哈妮同伦尼吵闹了一番。后来，他们搬到了加尼福尼亚。虽然伦尼极力反对，哈妮还是重操旧业，当起了脱衣舞女。
伦尼沉迷于吸毒不能自拔，哈妮生下了一个孩子，夫妻间常为吸毒的事而爆发激烈的争吵。有了孩子的第二年，他们分手了。因有贩卖毒品的嫌疑，哈妮被捕入狱。伦尼此时却因发挥出自己的喜剧天才获得观众认可，在事业上有了突破，成为红极一时的明星，但知名度却并未改善伦尼的境遇......
