◎简 介
故事发生在爱尔兰的伊尼舍林岛上，这里阴云密布，海风呼啸，生活一成不变，枯燥乏味。单纯乐观的帕德里克（科林・法瑞尔 Colin Farrell 饰）和细腻敏感的科尔姆（布莱丹・格里森 Brendan Gleeson 饰）是一对相交多年的莫逆好友。可就在某个毫无征兆的早上，科尔姆却不在与帕德里克同行，而是独自前往酒馆小酌。帕德里克百思不得其解，求问原因，而昔日好友却不愿意和他多言，只是决绝地要切断这份友情。无论是帕德里克，还是岛上的居民，都对这场变故大为不解。但科尔姆似乎决心已定，甚至不惜剪断手指以吓退一次又一次跑过来搭讪的帕德里克。
