◎简 介

爱迪生是直流电的发明者，他高傲，自大，野心满满，在当时树敌颇多。某日，一位名为特斯拉（尼古拉斯・霍尔特 Nicholas Hoult 饰）的男子发明出了异于爱迪生的交流电，为了抢占市场，威斯汀豪斯火速向特斯拉抛出了橄榄枝，邀请他为自己工作。交流电的出现再一次改观了人们对电力的理解，大大推动了革命进程。
